Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how OperIQ collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Service. We are committed to handling your data responsibly.
1. Information we collect
Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, and company.
Operational data you add to the Service, such as leads, follow-ups, quotes, invoices, and tasks.
Technical data such as log information and basic usage analytics needed to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use your information
To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To authenticate you, secure your account, and prevent abuse.
To communicate with you about your account, including important service notices.
3. How your data is stored and protected
Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Every record is protected by row-level security so that only your account can access your data.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to operate the Service, such as Supabase for the database and authentication and Vercel for hosting. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.
Optional integrations you choose to connect (such as email or calendar) are accessed only with your permission and only to deliver the features you enable.
5. Google user data (Gmail)
If you choose to connect your Google account, OperIQ requests access to your Gmail using the gmail.readonly scope (to display your inbox inside the app) and the gmail.send scope (to send follow-up emails that you review and approve). We only request these scopes after you explicitly click Connect, and you can disconnect at any time from Settings.
We access your Gmail messages solely to provide the in-app features you enable: showing your recent inbox and sending emails you have reviewed. We never read, store, or use your email content for advertising, and we never sell it. OperIQ does not auto-send email — you approve every message.
Your Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Message content is fetched on demand to display in the app and is not retained in our database beyond what is needed to render your inbox during your session.
OperIQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke OperIQ's access at any time in OperIQ Settings, or via your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Deleting your account removes your associated records.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR. You can exercise these by contacting support.
7. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, associated data is removed, subject to limited legal retention requirements.
8. Contact
For privacy questions, data requests, or to revoke access, contact us at support@useoperiq.com.
